The Fire Department of the City of Cartagena has launched a new campaign of solidarity Christmas.
Under the slogan One hour of your work can fill many mouths, all members, including administrative and ancillary staff, the director general and council of Public Safety, have donated the symbolic value of one hour of work (20 euros) to buy food to be delivered tomorrow, Friday, December 11, representatives of Caritas and the soup kitchen the Good Samaritan.
With the money raised Cartagena firefighters have managed to buy at different supermarkets to 2,500 kilos of food staples such as beans, potatoes, pasta, milk, biscuits, tuna, tomato, etc.., Which will assist people in need do not lack what to eat during the holidays.
