Local Development Agency and Employment of the City of Cartagena has worked with the EmpresaThyssenkrupp-Servon to teach this workshop Occupational Scaffolding Editor.
The 15 students participating in the Workshop Editor Scaffolding Occupational ended last 5 days training, today received the diploma of the same, in a ceremony presided at the Palace Hall the Councillor for Employment, Ruth Collins, accompanied by Human Resources Director of the company Thyssenkrupp Xervon, Carles Puig.
From City Hall we have a commitment to tackle unemployment in this city, we will continue supporting initiatives for implementation of courses and workshops that you open the doors of the labor market, said the councilor during the Employment Act delivery of diplomas.
In this regard, the Agency of Local Development and Employment of the City of Cartagena is working with the company Thyssenkrupp Xervon in carrying out the Project Workshop Editor Occupational Scaffold, which is in its third edition.
This collaboration involves the completion of four editions of 230 hours training each.
The number of students per issue is 15, and there by the company Thyssenkrupp a commitment to hire at least 60% of students who have successfully completed training.
The development of the training has been taught in their fullest extent, on site of ThyssenKrupp in Lomas del Albujón, assuming the Local Development Agency and Employment's commitment to transfer students from Cartagena to the training site and return.
The course has a duration of 230 hours, of which 114 have been theoretical, 100 practices and 16 aimed at assessing knowledge.
The training content of the course are:
- Work organization
- Preparation, Assembly and Disassembly of tubular scaffolds
- Driving self-propelled trucks and auxiliary equipment handling lifting.
- Risk prevention
- First aid and basic module to work in petrochemical industry
It is envisaged that the fourth edition begins in early January 2010.
