The Department of Education of the City of Cartagena, has awarded 74 grants to support the movement for students living in the Municipality of Cartagena.
The call had been submitted 100 applications, of which 26 were denied for not meeting the requirements.
It will be recalled are intended to aid students in the municipality redients enrolled in any university in the region that normally have to go to the university concerned.
Also, in order to grant the scholarship were required to per capita income of the Members of the family unit could not exceed the 4,700 per year.
Likewise, the address of the applicant had to be more than 3 km away from the university.
The amount of scholarships granted in the coming days will be communicated to stakeholders, ranging between 80 and 380 euros, depending on the number of trips, where you live the student and the special economic and family situations of the applicants.
It will be recalled are supplementary aid to UNIBON, launched recently in Cartagena.
The UNIBON is a subsidized flat rate that allows the university to use the city bus line unlimited travel for 20 euros a month.
