During the 5th, 6th and 7th of December, held in Cartagena Spain XV Domino Championship team.
This is the top competition to be held at the national level and will bring to our city to the champions of the various regional federations, a total of 20 teams with between 16 and 20 players each, which will involve about 400 people who will have the opportunity to visit Cartagena.
The competition was launched last few dates on the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, by the president of Domino Federation of Murcia, Ginés Olmos, Vice President Juan Domingo Esparza, and the domino world champions in pairs, Antonio Vera and Juan Fulgencio López.
The championship will be held at the Central Pavilion of Sports.
The inauguration will take place on Saturday 5 at five and the tared closure planned for 7 with a dinner at the Botanical Garden during which trophies are awarded accordingly.
During the presentation of this event, the vice president announced that FDRM Autonomous Region has decided to consider the domino as a sport, something that soon will become official with publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia.
In this sense, our Community is a pioneer as Cantabria and the Canary Islands just officially considered as a sport this mode, but the trend is that the other regions will follow this example.
Today, in the region there are 430 cards of players dominated Federated, which must be added the college students who are entering through the implementation of free credits.
