The 38th International Film Festival of Cartagena, starts on Saturday, December 5 with a screening of the film 'A bad day for fish', at 20.00 pm in the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy film, which is supported by the Free Spirit Award of the International Film Festival Warsaw 2009.
From that day until December 12, will screen a total of 17 feature films in the Cultural Center, and 40 shorts, with the section MURcine included in the Cultural Hall of CajaMurcia.
In this edition of the festival, besides the film content, 9 and 10 December will develop a series of workshops to try and create a broader view of cinema in relation to other worlds, such as television, advertising and visual styles.
Be held in the Aula of the CAM.
Also be noted that in parallel, and since 23 November, can be visited in the Hall of Caja Murcia laexposición 'Spanish Cinema, a visual chronicle' which, through 120 photographs, thirty posters and audiovisual ago tour of the more significant moments in the history of Spanish cinema, with particular emphasis on the figure of Fernando Fernan Gomez.
Will be open until 12 December.
The festival budget is around 120,000 euros, an amount that is expected to reduce next year in response to the needs of austerity imposed by the running times of crisis, as announced by the finance council and president of the Festival, José Cabezas, we to do more with less.
