The School of Civil Engineering this week celebrates the feast of Santa Barbara with academic and cultural activities, including a visit Tuesday to the cogeneration plant EnergyWorks of Cartagena.
The graduation ceremony will take place tomorrow Wednesday, beginning at 19.30 h.
in the Assembly Hall of the Civil EUIT (Campus del Paseo Alfonso XIII).
During the event, the Engineer of Mines José Manuel Muñoz Camarasa speak on "R & D in marble quarries."
Then it will present the awards for the best Thesis, by the Association of Mining Engineers, which went to two jobs in the departments of Mines and Energy Resources, Fuels and Explosives.

For 21.00 hours is planned ignition of fireworks in honor of Santa Barbara, on the campus of Alfonso XIII.
Activities conclude on Thursday with the mine train, a trip FEVE to La Union, which includes a visit to the mine Rajao Cabezo.
At 14.30 hours will be held the fellowship meal that will bring together students and teachers.
