On Thursday, November 26, will be announced the jury's verdict of the International Poetry Prize XXIV Antonio Oliver Belmar in a ceremony to be held at the Palace Hall at 19 "30 hours.
In this edition have attended 150 poems in Castilian from different countries.
The jury is composed of Blanca Andreu, Eloy Sánchez Rosillo, Salvador García Jiménez, Luis Alberto de Cuenca and Vicente Gallego, and first prize is worth 12,000 euros, trophy and publication of the work.
The ceremony will begin with Mass Coral Tomás Luis de Victoria will perform a concert to welcome the attendees.
Subsequently, the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, will present the winner of the XXIII edition, Tomás Hernández Molina and his book Rock of the mackerel.
Then Miguel Navarro Salinas, director of the People's University of the City of Cartagena, which together with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Autonomous Community organizing this event, will read the jury's verdict.
