The CD Primi Sport has successfully participated this weekend in the Championship of Spain XVI Table Tennis organized by the Spanish Sports Federation for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (FEddi), which was held in the sports facilities at City Hall Godella (Valencia).
Cartagena team participated in the modes of male and female individual competition, with an athlete in each, individually adapted, with three athletes, double suited, with a team, and sports skills, with two athletes.
The medals won by our athletes have been gold in men's tailored made by Juan Pedro Bernal and Juan Carlos Perez and individual silver medal in men's sports by José Carlos Moreno.
Highlighted the good performance of the athlete Alejandro Montesinos in his first appearance in the competition mode, as this is governed by the rules of the Spanish Federation of Table Tennis (5 September) and the Regulations FEddi.
Other athletes who participated in the other modes were very successful winning many of their group matches.
Displaced players for this tournament have been Angela Bosch Giner, Juan Carlos Perez, Juan Pedro Bernal, Jose Carlos Moreno, Juan Caamaño, Alejandro Montesinos and Isidoro Alejandro Martinez.
With Primi Sport Club has also traveled the independent athlete Raquel Hernandez, the club ANDEPORTES of Murcia, which has participated in the women's individual competition mode, obtaining an acceptable result.
This table tennis championship 17 clubs have participated in all of Spain, with a total players, delegates and trainer of 80 persons in the arrangements for team competition, individual and double, in singles and doubles method adapted and in individual sports skills.
For participation Primi Sport team in the championship, as was done with football and basketball, has enjoyed the cooperation of the Federation for the intellectually disabled Murcia (FEDEMIPS) and funding from the City of Cartagena .
