Local Police Cartagena on Thursday completed the Basic Course Maintenance and Security of Firearms, included in the training activities promoted by the Police Regional School Localesen collaboration with ESPAC (School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena).
To that course, which is complementary to the Basic Training Course for newly recruited police officers, also attended by officials of the municipalities of Abarán, Los Alcazares, San Pedro del Pinatar, Puerto Lumbreras Totana, San Javier, Torre Pacheco, Mazarrón, Union, Eagles and Fuente Alamo.
There have been several editions, with a maximum number of attendees per session of 20 policemen at the premises of the School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena (Espace), with a total participation of 115 officers of the municipalities indicated, during days 3 , 5, 9, 17, 18 and 19 November.
The course consisted of two parts, one theoretical in which were given basic knowledge of conventional weapons, basic concepts of fire and safety standards, basic concepts of firearms and ammunition and knowledge of the weapon.
Disassembly, cleaning, maintenance and use, and a practical part with real shot in the shooting gallery of ESPAC.
