The government team, with the mayor in front, and is holding meetings to identify projects to be included in the latest edition of E Plan for 2010, emphasizing the creation of a greenway linking the Los Barreros downtown building on the old route of the railway line, passing through the neighborhood of Peral.
The total project comprises 32,600 meters square and, for this next phase of the state plan, has proposed to hold a length of 1750 meters from the roundabout at The Barreros Mandarache to the vicinity of a shared path for pedestrians and bicycles, making also recreational area with playgrounds and trees.
Currently, the City is negotiating with ADIF (company that owns the railroad tracks), the provision of land to carry out this greenway.
This is just one of the projects under consideration by the government team ahead of the reconvening of Plan E, for which follow the same previous criterion: balancing works in the city and neighborhoods and councils.
The mayor has already held several meetings with council monograph to coordinate and refine the second draft Plan E, for which they provide 22.7 million euros awarded to Cartagena.
