On Friday, November 20, the Institute of Social Service of the City of Cartagena, Playful Afternoon developed, aimed at children of the municipality, to mark the International Day of the Rights of the Child.
This celebration is held for the first time in Cartagena, celebrating the 20 anniversary of that date, dedicated to brotherhood and understanding among children around the world with their own activities to promote the welfare of children worldwide.
Therefore, in the Parque de los Juncos take place throughout the week various activities, workshops and performances for the enjoyment of the smallest, with the assistance of Councillor Social Care, Antonio Calderon, and the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto.
The party will start at 17.30 hours, with an opening parade, traversed by the Storytelling 'Suitcase Stories' Biopsy Theatre Company, to continue at 18.30 hours, with a show of juggling and representation Puppet, titled Caca and pipi, and The Knight of the hand of fire, at 19.00 hours.
The evening will end at 20.30 hours with a parade that will put an end to activities.
There will also be workshops flowers with recycled materials, magic, make-up with fantasy characters and heroes of comics, including a workshop of 'lining your book' and a paper airplane contest.
As for other activities, children can dare to be caricatured, as well, to write their memories and hang them in a giant stall.

Within these actions will take place at the Palace Hall, a Children's plenary, which involved around 30 students from 5 centers in the municipality, Colegio Santa Florentina de La Palma, Colegio Vicente Ros, Anibal College, College and school Beethoven Grabiela Mistral Slum of Latin America.
Children may become councilors and see how full municipal, which discussed various proposals concerning the right to education and the right to play.
