The Local Government of the City Council this morning approved the project of rehabilitation and conditioning Castillito of Sorrows as Local police base in the northwest of the city of Cartagena.
As reported by the government spokesman, Joaquin Segado, the draft prepared by the municipal technical services amounted to 695,000 euros, financed by the Autonomous Community, which will provide 375.00 euros, and the council, which will place the remaining € 320,000.
The deadline for execution of work will be between ten months and one year.
Future Local police base in Los Dolores will start with 25 agents, that will cover other towns such as La Aljorra, The Albujón and Miranda.
Mowing has stated that this is the fourth stable base of local police that the City opens in districts and councils, after the Cabo de Palos, El Algar and Pozo Estrecho; the Cuartelillos outside in summer are put into service Grandchildren and Island Palana.
Joaquin Segado highlighted the important efforts made by the City Council to improve safety, even if this competition is not local, but we want the neighborhoods are as safe as possible.
Following project approval by the Governing Board, works contracts will go soon.
