The regional deputy of the Popular Group, Sunday Segado said the decision of the Coastal Authority to demolish a building in Playa Honda has cost EUR 12,383,994.20, an amount that the Government of Spain has paid the owner of the plot 6,800 square meters on which it stood. "
"This inordinate amount is close to EUR 13 million investment sum that the Government of Spain went to Cartagena in the State Budget of 2009, excluding the budget for the Port Authority as an autonomous agency that finances their investments" .
The regional deputy considers that in these times of crisis and need, "is a nonsense to spend more than 2,000 million pesetas a performance completely dispensable."
