Next week will take place in Jumilla, Murcia and Cartagena, promotional concerts for young winners of last year's contest between strings and brass, where everyone under their solo act, accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of Cartagena.
Admission to the concerts will be free until all places of Cajamurcia Cultural Hall of Jumilla, the Conservatory of Music Auditorium of Murcia and the Conservatory of Music Auditorium of Cartagena, where performances will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
Between strings and brass is a classical music competition for young musicians in the Region of Murcia, organized by the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena and the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena in collaboration with other entities, which seeks to encourage young students Research Centers Conservatory of Music and the region.
The registration period for the thirteenth edition of this music contest is open until January 18, 2010 and modalities which may have the youth involved are: piano, strings, guitar, woodwinds, brass, percussion and singing.
The prize is worth 700 euros for the winner and $ 300 for the second of each of the modalities.
In addition, all winners will have the opportunity to act as soloists, together with the Cartagena Chamber Orchestra in concert promotion to the next edition of the competition.
