The City Council has tendered the award of 20 positions currently are vacant in the markets of Santa Florentina and Gisbert.
As explained by the Councillor responsible for Markets, Javier Herrero, the government team wants to boost the activity of these two institutions and facilitate the incorporation of new settlers in times of economic crisis.
Specifically, in Santa Florentina has offered eight seats, which were closed for months, losing for that reason the granting their former owners.
This market, the main town market hall, has 138 locations and are continuing reforms and investment that the City is rushing into it.
For its part, Gisbert market are offered 12 vacancies: less than half of the 27 that make up.
The City expects a recovery in activity in this establishment for the revitalization that is experiencing the area with the repopulation of the university quarter, the Wall Campus, construction of underground parking and the relocation of municipal offices to San Miguel, among others.
