The Segura basin (CHS) has invested more than 2.2 million in the refurbishment of the Rambla de Mendoza, in Llano del Beal (Cartagena), a work that represents the enhancement of a severely damaged runway.
The president of the CHS, José Salvador Fuentes Zorita, visited the works, which have been so positive to the torrential rains last September that the basin organization has decided to extend the leg on which he had acted in the project initial.
The improvement includes 842 meters finally reformed, compared to the initial 600 meters.
The project involves the environmental conditioning of the Rambla de Mendoza passing through Llano del Beal and the N-322.
The works involve the placement of a breakwater and a ton conducting side walls of gabions.
The CHS has also built a walkway that will connect the towns of El Llano del Beal and The Beal.
Furthermore, along the promenade will proceed to the planting of native flora and placement of street furniture for enjoyment of residents and visitors.
The construction company has been Tragsa.
On the other hand, the basin organization is also acting in Llano del Beal on the waterfront of Matilda, in a performance that takes place INDITEC company with a budget of 214,224 euros and a lead time of four months.
