Cartagena Local Police has released the results of the Campaign on School Transportation control and minors who have carried out between 15 and 28 October Units Old Town, city, and District Units in the provincial councils.
Of the 45 buses checked, all more than 23 passengers have been found 21 violations of various kinds, the most serious breach of security and the lack of specific authorization for school transport.
The rest of irregularities relate to the lack of passenger complaints book and poster of the same, fire extinguishers and marked steps.
SPEED TRAPS IN BLACK SPOTS
In October, local police have also conducted a series of speed checks using radar in the black spots on the main access roads to the city and county neighborhoods, where drivers often exceed the speed limits and in certain areas, limited to a maximum of 30 or 40 miles per hour.
The result has been a total of 52 checks throughout the month with 10,241 vehicles checked of which 308 have been reported to exceed by 10 percent the speed limit set by law.
