The Municipal Archaeological Museum 'Enrique Escudero de Castro' prepared a very special Saturday night to celebrate the Feast of All Saints and All Souls, with a theatrical performance at the necropolis was developing a Roman funeral.
The event, which was free entrance until full capacity, it served its purpose and audience filled the museum, about 400 people, who do not want to miss this performance included in the Fall programming at the Museum, as the beginning of the series 'The Roman funerary world' , which will take place every Tuesday in November.
The Cartagena Ditirambo troupe was asked to perform this recreation of a Roman funeral pomp, with pantomime and poetry of Sappho and Ovid.
This representation was first performed in Rome at the annual meeting of historical reconstruction 'Il Natale di Roma', in which the group won first prize in Cartagena in 2007.
