UCAM has inaugurated this morning the V Iberian Congress of Basketball under the theme `Science and Practice, a future relationship."
The symposium, organized by UCAM, with the Faculty of Sports Science, University of Extremadura and the Department of Sports City of Cartagena, has enjoyed the cooperation of the Directorate General of Sports of the CARM, and the Official College Graduates of College of Physical Education and Science in Sport and Physical Activity Murcia.
The Dean of Science Degree in Physical Education and Sport of the UCAM, Antonio Sánchez Pato, inaugurated the symposium accompanied by the Head of the Directorate General of Sports of the CARM, Eduardo Segarra, the director of the Municipal Sports Cartagena, Eduardo Armada and the Dean of the Faculty of Sports at the University of Extremadura, Sergio Ibáñez.
The Dean of CAFD explained that "the V Iberian Congress of Basketball is an educational activity, scientific character of a monographic study and cross discipline deeply rooted in our society, like basketball."
Pato Sanchez has emerged as major objectives of this V edition of the Iberian Conference Basketball, combine the scientific dimension of the researchers, with the praxis of the coach.
"The link between scientific rigor and practical approaches, it is essential to achieve the optimal development of the players, combined with outstanding sports results," he said.
