The Leader of the Opposition and National President of the Partido Popular, Mariano Rajoy, has visited this afternoon the Palace Hall and the Museum of the Roman Theatre.
Rajoy Hall in the Palace, accompanied by President of the Community, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, and the Regional Assembly President Francisco Celdran, has been received by the Mayor Pilar Barreiro.
After greeting the government team in the Chamber of Councillors, the Leader of the Opposition has signed in the golden book of the City, the Mayor's ceremonial office.
Her second scheduled visit was the Museo del Teatro Romano, where they have joined the entourage of President Fundación Caja Murcia, Carlos Egea, and the manager of the Foundation of the Roman Theatre, Vicente Balibrea.
As you may recall last October 8 Mariano Rajoy had planned this visit to Cartagena in two days, but had to be suspended in extremis to attend the funeral in the Canary Islands Cape Army killed in action in Afghanistan.
