The Governing Council has given approval to an agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Water and the Association of Southeast Naturalists (Anse) for maritime activities and mooring of the yacht 'Else', in the framework of the 'Posidonia '.

This agreement involves a contribution of 6,000 euros from the regional government.

Among the actions planned to be carried out especially in the coast city of Cartagena, emphasizes the monitoring of populations of turtles, mammals and aquatic birds.

Also included are educational and environmental awareness on coastal clean-up of beaches and submerged areas of difficult access, and collaboration and research activities related to conservation and management of coastal natural areas.
