The Governing Council of the UPCT, meeting in special session today, approved a proposal from the Commission on Convergence and Quality, the memory of Civil Engineering degree for verification by the College Board, the first step for the future implementation of this degree.
Similarly, a proposal from the Graduate Committee, have approved the reports of the Masters in Occupational Health and Safety, the Masters in Local Development and Employment, Master in Management and Business and Tourist Institutions and Master in Business Administration and Entities Directorate of Social Economy.
It also approved the provisional Rules of evidence UPCT access to those over 25 and 45 years for 2009-2010 and adopted several resolutions and agreements for teachers.
In point of agreement has been approved, inter alia, the agreement between the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and the Infrastructure and Facilities Management of Defense (Giedo) for acquisition by the University of the grounds of the Old Military Sports Club "Santiago in Cartagena.
The Chancellor also reported on the 2009 budget cut for public universities decided by the Autonomous Community in the framework of general measures of adjustment approved by the Governing Council of the CARM.
In the case of UPCT is a cut of the grant of the names of equity capital in the amount of 259,000 euros.
