The Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, received yesterday at the Palace Hall, a delegation comprising four members of parliament from the Lodz region of Poland, who have traveled to Cartagena to know the Spanish autonomic system and, more specifically, the functioning of the Assembly Regional de Murcia, which are held several working sessions with the president, the board and the parliamentary groups.
The delegation is composed of the President of the Parliament of Lodz, Marek Mazur, a member of the Board, Elzbieta Hibner, and deputies and Tomasz Wiktor Olszeweski Kupis, and was accompanied by the Regional Assembly President Francisco Celdran.
The first working session, the president and members of parliament explains how the institutional organization of Spain and the Spanish Constitution of 1978, the autonomous State and the powers of the autonomous communities.
The second session will be held this morning, where they will be the spokespersons of the three parliamentary groups who will present to parliamentarians in Lodz, the institutional organization of the Region of Murcia, and explain the Statute of Autonomy, the organs of the Autonomous Community and the composition and functioning of the Regional Assembly itself.
The parliamentarians have visited different places of the city, as the Roman Theatre and the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology (ARQUA)
