Three members of the Park Dive Cartagena Fire participate on Thursday 22 October, in an exercise under the sea rescue in confined spaces to be carried out jointly with members of the Military Emergency Unit (UME) and Group Activities Underwater Civil Guard (GEAS).
The exercise involves the location and rescue of a submerged vessel at 35 meters depth, which has been chosen as the environment Nalón minesweeper, sunk for an artificial reef in the Bay of Mazarrón.
The rescue activity start at 9.30 pm and is included in training exercises being made by Fire Cartagena to complement and expand your knowledge of future interventions, and this is the first time working with members of the UME.
