The ALDE launches on Monday 26 October, elprograma 'ADLE-Barrios' with the aim of facilitating the participation of the unemployed in the actions of active job search in different neighborhoods of Cartagena.
This program has been very successful involvement by neighborhood, which is responsible for directing the activities to be carried out, said the Councillor for Youth and Employment, Mary Ruth Collins at the launch of this project, which has accompanied by the councilman of Decentralization, Nicolás Ángel Bernal, and members of different neighborhoods and participating councils.
Attended by the president of the Association of Residents of the neighborhood Latin America, Salvador Sanchez Soto, Secretary of the Delegation of Saint Lucia, Diego Heredia Sánchez, and the representative of the Neighborhood Association of the Aljorra, Angel Gabriel Benzal Pintado.
The project will run initially in two districts and a council of Cartagena, which will be St. Lucia, The Slum Aljorra and Latin America, where they intend to raise, guide and train the unemployed in methods to improve accessibility to employment.
The project consists of two phases, the first of which is done through an orientation phase, which initially raised a discussion group for 2 hours with a maximum of 30 people, which will lead to other policy guidance, with smaller groups to improve your access to the labor market.
In the second part, we will conduct a training phase, which will select 8 people from each neighborhood to participate in an Occupational Workshop, which devoted its practical part to perform work in the same neighborhood, with a duration of two months.
In addition, for each day worked, participants will receive a check DE10 euros, bringing the Town Hall.
Work is appreciated, as are those people in the neighborhood, which is responsible for improving their appearance, with maintenance, such as masonry, painting, carpentry, among others, stressed the council of Decentralization.
The Slum Lady of Charity was the pioneer of this project, which took place last year.
Following the success of this year made another masonry and painting workshop with the intention to expand this program to all districts and councils of Cartagena who wish to participate.
