On Saturday October 24 will be held cleaning seabed of the Bay of Cartagena, which organizes the sixth consecutive year the Hesperides Diving Club and Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena, with the collaboration including the City of Cartagena and the Coastal Services Institute.
The activity will take place in Cala Cortina from LA9, 30 hours by two groups of volunteers.
The first, composed of divers will search the sea of waste and the second is in charge of collecting on the shore of garbage left on the beach, like cigarette butts, foil, plastic bags.
Last year the campaign was conducted in various parts of the coast and Cala Abierta, Cala Cortina and the tip of the Azohía, coming to collect about 580 kilos of garbage with the participation of 42 volunteers.
