The director of the Municipal Institute of Social Services City of Cartagena, Antonio Mule, presided over Friday's closing comply II Gypsy Culture Week, accompanied by representatives of various groups that have contributed to the activities undertaken in connection with this socio-cultural event.
On the premises of the Royal Artillery, Military Museum ", focused the closing ceremony with a performance of Gypsy flamenco group of picture and workshops Dance and Flamenco Cajon Prosocus Association of Cartagena, where they have participated more than fifty children, and reading the Manifesto Gypsy by Juan García Santiago, the current mediator of the City of San Pedro del Pinatar.
Finally, we carried out the awards to participants in workshops and competitions as well as recognition of the groups that have collaborated in the organization of the Roma Cultural Week.
Remember that the goal of Gypsy Culture Week, organized by the Department of Social Services through the IMSS, is to promote awareness and participation of the population of Cartagena and in particular Roma.
The groups that have received recognition for his work in the City of Cartagena were: APROSOCUS CARTAGENA, RASCASA ASSOCIATION CENTER SAN PABLO, FORO GITANO, FSG AND INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHARITIES OF CARTAGENA.
