The works carried out at the northern entrance to the city to give it light and build a service road providing access to the future City of Justice are nearing completion.
As explained Councillor for Infrastructure, José Vicente Albaladejo, lighting detracts only connect to the municipal network for their entry into operation, while the service road is being paved, while paving stones are placed on its sidewalks and paving the bike path.
In the section of the northern access between the roundabout Severo Ochoa and the Tejeras, 150 street lights have been installed, and dividing by five feet wide, that separates the main way for future rail service and on which are the poles of the lights.
Thus, access to Cartagena will be fully lit, improving traffic safety and pedestrian.
In addition, we have built a bike lane, part of the old railway line in the neighborhood until the first round Peral José María de La Puerta and connect in the future with the developments of the CC11 and CC12, to San Felix Lane.
The new service road will exit to the residents of the District Our Lady of Charity and Mall Mandarache users, and provide access to municipal land where they built the City of Justice, the new Police Station Square Ring and the Centre for Tourism qualification.
This project, included in Plan E, has had a budget of 1,985,023 euros.
