The Plenary of the Municipal Corporation today met in regular session for, in addition to approving the agenda, debate, issues affecting the interests of the public, relating mainly to infrastructure and accessibility.
Although all motions filed by opposition groups were refused emergency, Councillor for Infrastructure, José Vicente Albaladejo, has announced two substantive reforms in the near future in response to a motion and a question of the socialist group.
On the first, referred to the need for improvements in the Avenue of the Americas, Alba has said that he met with the neighbors two weeks ago in which it came to the conclusion that what is needed in this street in a comprehensive reform of it, not in part, a thorough treatment of the area and that's what we do from the government.
As to the question of the Socialists, on the installation of pedestrian walkways on the bridge of the Barrio de la Concepción, the councilman said that Infrastructure is the government team will fix the bridge, the project is already written and we want to include in the 2010 budget an item to take forward this action.

In another vein, finally, to a question from the Socialist spokesman on the outer development of the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology ARQUA, José Vicente Albaladejo has ensured that, at the request of the Ministry of Culture, has written a joint project with surroundings of the Auditorium and Congress Palace.
We are currently setting the terms of a three-way agreement between the municipality, the Ministry and the Port Authority.
The project, now completed, will be sent shortly for monitoring and hope that can happen to tendering and contracting by the end of the year, said Albanese.
