On 26 October, the Local Development Agency and Employment program launches 'ADLE-Barrios' with the aim of facilitating the participation of the unemployed in the actions of active job search in different neighborhoods of Cartagena.
The project aims to raise awareness, provide guidance and training to the unemployed in methods to improve accessibility to employment, and depending on the needs identified specific workshops will be developed to facilitate their integration into the labor market.
This program will be developed initially in three districts of Cartagena, Santa Lucia, The Slum Aljorra and Latin America, after spreading to other areas.
The project consists of two parts, the first one, it makes an orientation phase, which initially raised a discussion group for 2 hours with a maximum of 30 people, which will lead to other policy guidance, with smaller groups to improve your access to the labor market.
In the second part, we will conduct a training phase, which will select 8 people from each neighborhood to participate in an Occupational Workshop, which devoted its practical part to perform work in the same neighborhood, with a duration of two months.
Prerequisite for participation will be registered in the district and be unemployed.
