Students from IES Salvador Sandoval of Las Torres de Cotillas and Zweites Gymnasium Rottenburg (Germany) have been received this morning at the Palace Hall of Cartagena by the Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto.
Students have previously made a different cultural view of interpretation centers of the city.
At the Palace Hall the Councillor has welcomed them and she explained some important aspects of this historic building.
The Institute Towers Rottenburg Cotillas and exchanges have been doing since 2007.
Starting this year, 2009-10, the exchange has become a Comenius project, funded by the European Union which, under the title Sun and Water: Challenges and solutions, involving 24 students of German and Spanish written by joint efforts and activities for implementation.
Thus, 12 Spanish students aged between 14 and 17, were in Germany from 18 to 30 June 2009 to perform the practical work of that country.
From 7 to October 19, 1912 German students of the same age as the Spanish have come to Las Torres for practical work relating to Spain.
Apart from visiting during their stay Cartagena, the city with more history of the region, the German students are expected to know the Valdelentisco Desalting, the Museum of the Huerta Sewer and the Museum of the Mills River Segura in Murcia.
