Sainete Theatre Group has completed twenty years and celebrated it with a tribute Thursday in the auditorium of the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy chaired by Councillor Social Care, Antonio Calderon.

Created by the Municipal Social Services within the Major Programme to commemorate its twentieth anniversary staged the play Pic-Nic, Francisco Rabal, which offered his best artistic members of Sainete box, formed by the historic Joseph Coppersmith and Carmen Ramos, as part of the group since 1991, Clara Mercader, since 1998, Mark Garcia and Ana Maria Torres, who joined in 2000, Antonio Cegarra in 2004, Domingo Conesa in 2007 and married couple by Juan Martinez and Carmen Ros, in the year 2009.

The tribute was especially for the group's founders: Fidel Velasco, Antonia Miller, Adolfo Encinas, Juan Ortiz, Antonia Morales, María González, Antonio Pagan, and those who are no longer with us and participated in this cultural project as Carmen Barranco Pepita Estévez, Lucia Clemente, Isabel Sánchez, Flora Segado, Paco Garcia and Ginesa Rosique.

Others who were also part of this box art for several seasons, Paco Sanchez and Luisa Pedroza, Isidoro García and Rosario Botía, Aurelia Moreno Rocio Moreno, Momi and Celestino Moreno García, Álvaro Hernández and Dolores Martinez, Ana Martinez, Rosa Montiel, Manuel Martinez and Maria Ubero, Carmen Gascon Tomas Aznar Maruja Madrid and received their well-deserved tribute and recognition of the City of Cartagena for a job well done.
