On Monday, Oct. 5 begins the third edition of the scaffolding erector course, organized by the Agency of Local Development and Employment (ALDE) and with the collaboration of the company Tyssenkrupp Xervon.
The course will last for 230 hours, of which 114 will be theoretical, 100 practices and 16 aimed at assessing knowledge.
The training content of the course are:
- Organization of work.
- Preparation, erection and removal of scaffolding tubes.
- Driving self-propelled trucks and auxiliary equipment handling lifting.
- Risk prevention, basic level.
- First aid and basic module to work in petrochemical industry.
The company has identified a total of 15 students, by conducting a test of skills.
The courses will be developed in the new company's facilities, located in Las Lomas del Albujón.
The ALDE, assumes the cost of moving students to the venue of the course, providing the means of transport.
5 students of the first edition have already been hired by the company and is expected in the coming weeks to formalize the contract other students in the second edition.
The fourth and final edition will be held in early 2010 with the selection of another group of 15 students.
