Social Care Councilman of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderon has signed agreements with six associations and groups in order to promote health programs within the objectives of the Municipal Plan of Action on Drug Addiction (LDCs).
The signatories were the Parents and Friends Association Against Drugs, Family Action, the Anti-AIDS Committee, the Youth Council, FAPA (Federation of Associations of Parents of Students) and CONCAPA (Catholic Confederation of Parents Associations Student).
The PMAD includes the promotion of health as the most suitable and appropriate framework for action on drug addiction and sets as its ultimate goal to work for a healthier Cartagena.
The PMAD not intended as an exclusive action of the City, but is intended to be a Plan of the municipality in which converge the different efforts of public institutions and social initiatives on drug and to maximize interagency coordination.
Proof of this is the signature of these cooperative agreements.
