Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero, opens on Thursday, at 11.30 pm in the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy, CHINGUETTI exposure, 20 ° 27 '17''/ 12 º 22' 0''W, photographer Sea Sáez.
The exhibition shows through almost thirty photographs taken in Chinguetti (Mauritania) a social viewpoint, artistic and intimate to a village where more than half the population lives below the poverty line.
This is a documentary approach with which the audience can reflect on the importance of solidarity and humanitarian support to the Third World.
Besides revealing the uprooting of hunger, poverty and unemployment, with the sample is disclosed to a humble and generous civilization lives in one of the most beautiful of Mauritanian territory, located in the Sahara, and enjoys spectacular dunes which was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1996.
The exhibition, which starts on Thursday, will run until Oct. 21.
