Next Wednesday, September 2, at 20 am at the Cultural Center Cajamurcia Cartagena (Palacio Pedreño. Puerta de Murcia, 2) will open the exhibition "Museum of Naval Julio Castelo Matrán Model ', comprises 29 scale models of famous ships in naval history, conducted entirely by the Murcia Matrán Julio Castelo, President of Honor of the MAPFRE Foundation and chief executive of MAPFRE between 1990 and 2001.
The exhibition consists of ships built between the eighteenth and twentieth centuries in Spain and six other European countries and the United States.
For the most part, they are warships, which are attributed to their participation in relevant historical facts.
It should be stressed that this time will be exhibited publicly for the first time the model of the Amerigo Vespucci, recently completed and donated by its author to MAPFRE FOUNDATION.
The exhibition will be presented to the media on Wednesday, 2 September at 11.30 am at the Cultural Center Cajamurcia Cartagena.
