The Local Government Committee met this morning under the chairmanship of Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, to discuss various pending issues within the agenda.
Among the approved proposals are presented by the councilor of Infrastructure, Transport Works and Utilities, José Vicente Albaladejo, to approve the project for upgrading the access road to the neighborhood of Alum Zaraiche from the level crossing Gabilan Bridge, which will be undertaken by the Directorate General of Transport of the region.
The current path is 1.3 kilometers long and 4 meters wide and is made of earth.
The project will involve retrofitting with Board, his path to the current camping trip to respect the environment.
The Board also approved the proposal of Councillor of Finance, Jose Cabezas, severance payment of various bills of Property Tax as requested by Repsol Petroleo SA is a total of five bills for a total of 1,076,864 euros.
The first installment will amount to about 348,000 euros.
In another vein, the Board of Governors have approved the agreement governing the partnership between the City of Cartagena and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Autonomous Region for the celebration of the Audi Med Cup in Cartagena; and the approval of expenditure for the exhibitions held at the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy in the fifteenth edition of The Sea Music Festival.
