The Governing Council has given the green light to an agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the City of Cartagena and Caja Mediterráneo (CAM) for the sponsorship of the Cartagena circuit stage 'Race Medcup 2009 Marine Transpac 52 Class ', to be held in September at the Port of Cartagena.

The event adds to the various activities of the regional government aimed at empowering, encouraging and promoting the sport nationally and internationally in the Region of Murcia.
