The Technical University of Cartagena (UPCT) has approved the referral to ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation) the curriculum in Industrial Engineering, the title to be taught from September next year in General Air Academy San Javier, according to Antonio Gabaldon, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and is headed for better training of future Air Force officers.
Industrial Engineer will be held in the new CUD-AGA, the University Center of Defense.
The degree consists of 240 credits and be taught from September 2010 and has been designed in consultation with the representatives of the Academia General del Aire.
The curriculum has developed new degree AGA and UPCT.
This week ANECA submitted for verification.
Once verified, it would only be pending the approval of establishment of the Autonomous Community.
The CUD-AGA plans to offer around 100 seats.
Access will be by note of selectivity and specific entrance exams.
These new schools (CUD) allow the training of college grade officers of the General Bodies of the three Army and Marine Corps, according to the Law on Military career in which you design a new model of military training .
This model includes the one hand, the specific and general military training, taught in military academies and, secondly, the granting of a degree of general education system to be obtained in a college of Defense.
