57 students from various universities and degrees, are being trained in the management of industrial waste in the Summer Course UPCT taking place this week at the Faculty of Sciences of the Company.
Among the speakers present topics that should be noted the problem of contaminated soils, container management and planning in the field of waste management in different types of industries.
The course director, Christopher Garcia, said that "all companies and industries currently require a waste management project for its implementation and development, which is why students of different engineering degrees should be trained in this field. "
Course development has had the participation of technical staff of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water, as well as professionals such important industries in the region such as Repsol and Navantia.
Thursday will attend the closing ceremony the Director General of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control CARM, Francisco José García Espejo and the Vice Chancellor for Student and University Extension, Francisco Martín Martínez González.
