Lola is a 25 year old living in New York and dreams of becoming a belly dancer.
Thanks to Youssef, her best friend, a young Egyptian gay Ismahan view history, oriental dance star and a legend in Cairo.
It is the argument of the French-Moroccan film Whatever Lola Wants, projecting this afternoon after 20 hours, in the Nuevo Teatro Circo, in the cycle The Sea Film.

BIOGRAPHY
Moroccan father and French mother, Nabil Ayouch (April 1, 1969) grew up in Paris.
After three years of drama with Sarah Michel Granval Bore and decided to work in cinema.
In 1992 he filmed his first short film Les Pierres Bleues du Désert, with Jamel Debbouze.
He later shot two more short films, and Vendeur Connexion Hertzienne Silence, all with good reviews at film festivals around the world.
In 1997, he directed his first feature, Mektoub, which became a box office record in Morocco, with more than 350,000 spectators.
The film won the award for Best Arab Film and Best Film Award for Novel in the Cairo International Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the Festival of Oslo.
Following this success, Ayouch created his production company, Ali N Productions, and directed his second film, Prince Ali Zaou Casablanca, which details the lives of children abandoned on the streets of Morocco, especially Casablanca.
The film was a huge national and international success and was awarded many prizes at major festivals.
