There are still places to participate in the activities planned by the Directorate General for Transport and Ports to be held tomorrow in Cartagena, in the conference 'The Region of Murcia, facing the sea', which aim to bring and to familiarize citizens with marinas in the region of Murcia.
The first activity will provide, and which works Cartagena 'Port of Culture', will be a sightseeing catamaran in the bay of Cartagena, an hour and a group of 85 people.
Those interested must be at 11:00 pm at the entrance of the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena, and that the shipment will be from the Muelle Alfonso XII Scale.
Those who prefer land activities you can enjoy a guided tour of the Submarine Base Cartagena to be held, also at 11:00 am in the Military Arsenal, Real street.
In addition, Lieutenant Commander Fernando Escondrillas show visitors what the inside of a submarine and how sailors are trained in the use of the invention of Isaac Peral through simulators.
Citizens who wish to learn concepts of sailing in the Real Club de Regatas, may do so at different times: 10:00, 12:00, 16:00 and 18:00 hours.
Also, throughout the day you can enjoy the stunning marine life and environment of Cala Cortina, with the cooperation of the Hesperides Diving Club.
In the afternoon, the oceanographer and scuba instructor Blue Planet, Amelia Canovas, will present the conference "Nature and Tourism in the Murcia coast."
Will be at 20:00 at the offices Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena.
The last activity will be provided in Cartagena on 22 July.
This is a guided tour of the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology (ARQVA) which is the institution responsible for the study, evaluation, research, preservation, dissemination and protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage Spanish.
All summer long
The planned activities will continue every Saturday throughout July and August in the marinas of Lo Pagan, Los Alcazares, Cabo de Palos, Mazarrón, Aguilas and La Manga del Mar Menor.
"There are over 1,200 places in all the activities that are free, and we hope that citizens can enjoy them this summer," said the director general of Transport and Ports, Carmen Sandoval.
