The Minister of Social Policy, Women and Migration, Joaquín Bascuñana, and the Mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, today signed an agreement to develop activities in the area of primary care services in the period 2009-2010, amounting to 2,469 .384 euros, of which 1,852,038 brings the Autonomous Community and the City of Cartagena 617,345.
This investment will address the maintenance of the centers of Primary Care Services, which costs 1,192,253 euros (894,190 to provide the Ministry and the Ministry and 298,063 of City Hall).
Also included are the home help service, with 1,106,124 euros (829,593 and 276,531 of the Ministry of Town Hall) and Accompaniment Program for Social Inclusion, with 171,007 euros (128,255 of the Department and the City 42,752 euros).
To ensure the quality and stability of the proceedings of the Social Services Centre, the City agrees to maintain the 76 jobs, dealing with both the maintenance and the basic home care and accompaniment.
During the past May and June have signed agreements with other Primary Care municipalities in the region, representing investment of 16,387,598 euros.
Of this amount, the autonomous region provides 12,290,634 (75 percent) and local authorities (municipalities and associations), 4,096,874 euros.
