The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca, announced today that his department "will train 2,000 workers of auxiliary enterprises Navantia shipyard in Cartagena needed for construction of two submarines S-80, the Spanish Armada" .
Sotoca, a few days ago met with the leadership of Navantia, provided all the mechanisms and instruments available to the Ministry to carry out the subsequent process of selection and training of qualified personnel necessary for the construction of new submarines.
Also, the Department will create job opportunities with the best qualified professionals will be available to auxiliary enterprises.
The director expressed his satisfaction with the meeting with the management of the shipyard in Cartagena, which "has served to lay the foundation for the collaboration between both organizations and will respond to training and employment needs of a large construction project as the S-80. "
Sotoca stressed that "this mode of cooperation is in line with the proactive approach of the Ministry to identify the training needs of business and employment needs with the best professionals in this region."
