"I photographed time and time boats walls grow" says Alfredo Goblet of your sample in the Sea of Art (10/07/2009)

Goblet The photographer Alfredo (Madrid, 1968), winner of first prize in the official Festival of Photography Collective II Notodofotofest.com January 2007, he opened his shows scheduled in the Sea of Art.

The exhibition, entitled "A narrow gap" reflects a series of photographs taken during a stay in Morocco Chalice.

As the artist himself says: "One travels to meet with the other, leaving behind a place and delivered to a kind of definition that resembles that of life, which is nothing but the great journey.

One travels to speak, and "talk it out to find the part that we need" 1.

In Morocco, the part that we need comes to us as gueds-rivers, castles, beaches, hopefully, inshallah, and pillows, to coincide with ours, snapping them. "

The exhibition can be seen on the bezel Gaería Cartagena from 10 to 31 July.

Alfredo Chalice Morocco has a frozen in time, covered with stereotypes, but their photographs are a reflection of his personal experience, a critical experience that lets you change the way of bringing the issues and forces him to reflect on the necessary formal solutions to represent them.

It is the first exhibition that the photographer dedicated to Morocco, but has previously two more: Inshallah.

Morocco 1996-2006 in the Casa Elizalde Cultural Centre and the Instituto Cervantes in Tangier and return to Hansala in MUSAC - Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León.

The author explains why he chose headline "A narrow gap" to this exhibition:

"One travels to Morocco, not to discover anything, but to be recognized, reconnect with people, landscapes, places, with the remains of a common history: a parallel itineraries easily understood as his, to think or immerse themselves in the memory, which is the same thing, the traces of a common history, a parallel route.

Notes appear instantly as we and you, the Achish and Allis perfectly defined as two territories separated.

And you travel to Morocco to try to untangle this knot, and then be able to picture to tell others the way that best comes out: the arrival.

The ship docked slowly and one would like that this move will last a lifetime, stay glued to the coast of Tangier forever, without having to choose between any of the two continents.

I can not imagine a narrow gap as wide as anywhere else in the world.

Set foot on earth and feel like this move.

Walking briskly to blend into the crowd, to see if school.

Listen to the voices, the ringing treble of women, and sips of tea.

Breaking with the initial fear, come to shoot, ask questions and talk.

The camera as an excuse to network, a photo and a tea.

Gradually find ways to have your own Morocco. "
