Technicians of the 061 Emergency Management of the Autonomous Region held today, all day, driving practices in the Cartagena racetrack, which includes exercises patient transport in emergency situations.
The activity is part of the final year of the course "Management, mobilization and transport in emergencies' included in the Continuing Education program Murcia Health Service, making 30 drivers of emergency in the region.
The Cartagena racetrack has provided its facilities for the implementation of the knowledge and skills developed during the course.
As a result, students have the opportunity to improve their capabilities for such critical situations such as the transfer of a patient emergency.
The trainer of Emergency Management 061, Arbizqueta Jesus explained that "students lead to ambulances and without the patient, putting into practice everything learned during the course, and also participate as victims in the exercises."
The course, which this year celebrates its sixth year, will for the tests with an Emergency Medical Unit 061, Reserve, and an ambulance donated by Red Cross.
