Area Youth of the Youth Council has maintained the certification of management system, according to ISO 9001:2008 in external audit on 19 June by the SGS audit team.

The audit confirmed that the Youth Space has effectively implemented the management system to meet the objectives quality information, advice and guidance to young people in different spaces: Reception, Transportation, Housing, Health and Gender, Education, Employment, Social and Citizenship.

Young Space certified its services in July 2008, becoming one of the first municipal services of the City of Cartagena accredited with ISO 9001:2000 quality certification.

This year 2009 the follow-up audit has assessed whether the Youth Space has established and maintained the management system in accordance with the requirements of the rule, which in November 2008 was amended and renamed ISO 9001:2008.

All Space Crews Young has made an effort in introducing and adapting the requirements of the new standard, not detecting any non-compliance in future audits.

The Youth Space is a municipal service that has been implemented effectively in managing the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, offering its users a specialized service and quality.
