The second deputy mayor, José Vicente Albaladejo, will host this evening, around 19.30 hours at the Palace Hall, the participants at the Annual General Meeting of the Spanish Committee of the International Council of Museums, held on Saturday 20 June in the auditorium of the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology (ARQUA).
As you may recall the president of this assembly is the current director of Arqua, Rafael Azuar.
The International Council of Museums (ICOM) is an international organization of museums and museum professionals, aimed at preservation, maintenance and communication of cultural and natural heritage of the world, present and future, tangible and intangible.
Created in 1946, ICOM is a non governmental organization (NGO), which maintains a formal relationship with UNESCO and is currently an advisory body to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
