These are times of economic crisis, but not for ticket sales at La Mar de Músicas.
Today, comparing with previous editions, the festival has sold twice as many entries.
As we continue with this pace, La Mar de Músicas have in its fifteenth edition, the biggest of all.
Khaled concert, Pablo Milanes, Emir Kusturica, Lucinda Williams, Yann Tiersen and ends with La Mala Rodriguez and Refree with the Original Jazz Orquestra Taller de Musics and Calle 13, are by far the best-selling concert.
The organization is also considering a change of scenery to perform, to expand capacity.
The first weekend with Khaled, Saturday, July 4, and Pablo Milanes, Sunday, July 5, will have a full insurance in the festival.
We have already sold most of the capacity.
And the pace in selling tickets is still very good, although the organization this year I was shocked at the times of economic crisis they face.
The tickets went on sale last April at the New Theatre Box Office and online at Circo pages www.lamardemusicas.com and www.ticktackticket.com
The sales through the network has also been a large increase, since almost 80 percent of purchases are made through this medium.
As every year, the festival will also open a ticket sales point at the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy, location of the office of La Mar de Músicas.
The box office is open from 29 June, 10:00 hours
to 14:00 h.
