On Wednesday, June 10th at the Palace Hall closed the Days of Nutrition in the immigrant population in the Region of Murcia, with the delivery of certificates of attendance and official passport Food Handler.
The event was attended by Social Care Councillor of the City of Cartagena, Antonio Calderón, accompanied by the Coordinator of Nutrition courses at the Universidad San Antonio de Murcia, Dr Juan Morillas and a representative of the Autonomous Community of Murcia.
The purpose of these workshops was to address the challenge of protecting and promoting health, employment and social integration of immigrants through information conveyed by experts in the field for six consecutive days and obtaining license for participants food handler, which is essential to enter the workplace.
Currently seeks to make nutrition education a tool of intervention in the context of social integration and promoting health, providing protection policies and resource utilization for this change, encouraging and providing practical education quality improvement social work and health of the population.
